- Caryn meets with a potential coaching candidate for a free one-hour assessment of his/her needs.
- If the candidate and Caryn feel that they have the potential for building a successful coaching relationship the candidate requests that a Coaching Contract be prepared. The Contract outlines the specific goals and objectives for the coaching sessions.
- Caryn works on retainer. Because experience has shown that it takes six to twelve months for the client to reach the levels of performance he or she seeks, Caryn works either on a six- month or twelve month retainer. Most individuals choose the twelve month retainer because it indicates a level of commitment and accountability for achieving the stated goals of the engagement.
- Caryn's monthly retainer reflects her years of experience and success in working with highly productive producers.
- Caryn believes that face time with the client is the key to the success of the coaching program. She therefore spends at least three hours in-person each month with the client.
- She is available by phone to the client for two to three conversations per month. Caryn is highly regarded for her commitment to follow-up. She becomes a partner to the client.
- All conversations with a client are confidential.

Caryn J. Evans earned her BA in education from Simpson College, an MA in Mass Communication from Drake University and attended the Pappajohn FastTrac Entrepreneur Program at Drake University. She is a Project Management Professional and has more than 33 years experience working with distribution channels in a variety of industries. She is currently an adjunct professor at Grand View College, Des Moines, Iowa.
